I’m not far removed from this. I get the stress/anxiety of boards. But is only learning medicine from Boards & Beyond, Pathoma, Sketchy, AnKing etc etc good enough for clinical practice?? Will definitely be interesting to see in the next few years. 3/3

It’s interesting to me how most medical school have become a very expensive proctoring service with students not attending lectures and using 3rd party services instead to learn the material. I went to a school with professor-written exams (and mandatory attendance). 1/x

I used these 3rd party services as an adjunct to lecture material. Instead people are solely focused on passing boards, but medicine is SO much more than this. They prefer schools that use NBME exams…to help better prepare them for boards. 2/x

My intern year has been filled with endless hours on medicine wards, but looking forward to spending the next 2 weeks rotating through different UF PM&R clinics!! 8 more weeks of intern year then off to Pensacola 🥹😍

OMG WE DID IT! Last 20 hours: - upside down, on a towel, undisturbed - gave to toddler (clear mandate that bowls must stay together) - suction cup - small bowl asks to not give up on it now - banged on carpet UNSTUCK!!!!
