These days I judge intelligence partly by how resistant people are to psyops. There are 'smart' people who fall for every single one. So I struggle to consider them intelligent.
@ZubyMusic It’s a function of the strength of one’s internal firewall, rather than intelligence
@ZubyMusic I give them some credit, if they admit their mistakes instead of doubling down. x.com/jamessmithPT_/…

@ZubyMusic Same here, just like the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore wasn’t an accident.
@ZubyMusic Wisdom and intelligence are not the same thing.
@ZubyMusic And no amount of evidence seems to convince them otherwise. It is a strange one.
@ZubyMusic @caredw624 We're living out multiple dystopic stories at the same time and not nearly enough named characters on our side.
@ZubyMusic I’m with you, Zuby. This is why I make a distinction between intelligence & wisdom. Wisdom is essentially a high level of consciousness, in my opinion. Intelligence & wisdom have two key commonalities. The are born in us to varying extents & they can both be developed in us.
@ZubyMusic A major sign of intelligence is course correcting when an outcome doesn't match what's expected. If this happens repeatedly from following advice from the same source an intelligent person will stop trusting that source.
