Anyone who knows anything about football knows that this is probably a modest estimate. @BruceFeldmanCFB reported in 2018 that coaches said 80-90% of teams steal signs. It's part of the game and has been for many years — and it's why coaches routinely change theirs.

@CSayf23 Yup. The Athletic spoke to more than 20 coaches who estimated that 80 percent to 90 percent of college teams do some form of it: theathletic.com/408558/2018/07…
@CSayf23 Also.. a B1G staffer involved in decoding Michigan's signals said he didn’t buy that the way Stalions and UM allegedly gathered their intel actually gave them much of an advantage over the way other teams usually do it. Or that they actually needed this. theathletic.com/5041776/2023/1…
@BruceFeldmanCFB @CSayf23 The story that needs to be told is how Jimmy got a big paycut, was mad at the university, decided the only way to turn things around and get to the NFL was to cheat for a year, but got stonewalled by NFL GMs and was stuck. No concerns for TCUN's integrity, but the NFL stoned him.
@Zonabuck1 @BruceFeldmanCFB @CSayf23 That “story” is your fan fiction
@Zonabuck1 @BruceFeldmanCFB @CSayf23 Helluva reach there
