Tooth decay is the #1 communicable illness in this country and we know how to treat the disease and we know how to prevent it. Public health ignoring the solutions just makes more kids sick, not just with caries, but with the many systemic illnesses that get started in the mouth. SHOW UP FOR THE KIDS, start teaching them about xylitol, teach them how to address the bacterial infection in their mouth, not just how to make the enamel stronger.
