Again, so true. Maxime Bernier is the only politician in Canada who has the guts to fix it. Unfortunately, it is Canada with an ignorant electorate - now filled with immigrants who want chain migration and handouts. The PPC will never be the ruling party. In the US politicians stick to their policies - wacky and crazy or sound but tough as they may be. They don't back down. In Canada when political groups with common sense start making waves, the pushback silences them. Pierre Poilievre is much of a muchness to the others. All talk, but closely liberal. He would never do what's needed to be done on immigration. Trudeau's and Carney's globalist immigration policies have destroyed Canada. It will never be the country it used to be.

Canadians have four major judgement-clouding issues: - Media that's thrown out professional journalism, resulting in those who rely on it for their news, not having a clue about what is going on in Canada and the world. - They think Trump is PM of Canada and blame him for Trudeau's and Carney's failures. Trump is the president of the US. His fiduciary duty is to do what is best for the US, not Canada. It is Carney's job to negotiate fair deals with Trump. He doesn't have the guts. - Canadians have always trashed the US - worse now. They don't comprehend that the single most significant ingredient in Canada's success (until Trudeau an Carney came along) has been the US. Canada needs the US. - They think Carney was a real banker, rather than the civil-servant head of two government-owned central banks, shuffling dodgy economic policies. Failing at pulling the right cards.

The Ukraine War! Cowardly sanctions against Russia backfired hugely, resulting in sky-high Western energy prices. The food industry is highly reliant on energy from start to finish. Russia that emerged from the collapsed USSR, and under Putin, had never - not once - threatened, invaded or attacked the US, Canada or any of the other countries waging war against it. Russia activated its SMO to end Ukrainian genocide against Russian-Ukrainians and in existencial defence against a colonizing military organization oozing at its borders, NATO.
