The NCAA says it will not enforce its rule requiring multi-time transfers to obtain a waiver to play right away, after federal court enjoins the rule. All multi-time transfers can now play without a waiver. The state AGs really did a number on the NCAA today.

@WinterSportsLaw So does that mean an athlete can use his second transfer after the 23-24 basketball season is over and be immediately eligible at his next school using his second transfer??
@WinterSportsLaw And how many more football players will now enter the portal who thought they weren’t able to do so and potentially land themselves somewhere else within the 14 days. Unless I’m missing something.
@WinterSportsLaw @JayBilas Every lawyer has had the NCAA’s number in court!
@WinterSportsLaw Why should fans even care anymore. No one should give to NIL if players are just use the school they committed to as a stepping stone. Players aren't even associated with the schools they go to anymore.
@WinterSportsLaw @JayBilas The NCAA needs to be dissolved. It does nothing except take money.
@WinterSportsLaw So all those 2x xfers denied last season (expect Tez Walker) get a year back? Can they sue for legal fee incurred to get player’s waiver approved? Curious…..
@WinterSportsLaw @drridpath Thanks to everyone involved in this victory!
