The Nairobi Declaration firmly renews our commitment to global climate action and sustainable development, infusing it with a distinctive African character.
This declaration marks a pivotal moment in our collective efforts, with an urgent call to the international community to prioritise humanity's economic and ecological needs for our sustainable growth.
@WilliamsRuto Well done Your Excellency @WilliamsRuto that’s why we want to, at all levels, work together in tackling climate change in Africa! @EnviClimateC_Ke @AU_YouthEnvoy
@WilliamsRuto I doubt anyone tried to stop the Sahara desert to be a desert, God intended it that way and that’s how it is, it has never changed and it’s not likely to change, let’s focus on fighting poverty, impunity and corruption in our Africa.
@WilliamsRuto Hata kama tunafinyika , am proud of you Mr. President. There is hope in you. Kutezeka ni kwa muda, but generations will enjoy the fruits
@WilliamsRuto There have been so many declarations in Africa since OAU was formed. Is there a solid action plan that we is concrete and executable? Personally I was disappointed that the same blame and beg rhetoric was highly in play at this foreign funded conference. We need a paradigm shift
