56 days clean today. Also free of a bet for around 50 days. Been a couple of hairy moments, due to going to social events too early when I wasn't ready. However, through the grace of God I've made it and am feeling so positive about recovery.

@alexxlockhart Glad someone else read this. Absolute nonsense. He absolutely smashed it and everyone around me was loving it. He let 50 take the stage and shine because he isn't insecure. He knows he's the bollocks.

2 weeks back into recovery after a short trip back out there. Feeling good and appreciating what it brings. If you're struggling, get to a meeting, get yourself a sponsor and go through the work. It's simple but we over complicate it. Me more than anyone!

@addictionblog I've never met an addict who could "taper" off of cocaine. Suddenly start using half grams? It's a greedy drug and most people I've met have quit cold turkey.

Easy to be downbeat about failure, but at the end of the day recovery brought me a genuine faith and taught me lessons I've taken with me even through my relapses.

Started this road in 2015 and have managed a total of about 18 months clean in that time. However I can't say I've ever been 100% in the program, I've been a 50%er! I'm now on Day 2 and I want to put everything in this time.
