@ElonMNews Yes. In terms of user communication “X” is terrible. It’s understandable why you would wish to change it from “Twitter” etc., but it really ought to be to something that communicates an act of communication…”X” doesn’t; it can also mean “10”/ “unknown”/ “experiment”/ “untried”.

@politicianssho1 @TfL So “Cross Rail”/ Elizabeth “line” is actually 3 separate operational lines? Reading to Paddington; Paddington to Abbey Wood; Liverpool St to Shenfield. The information overload is cumbersome, plus hard to cross London: changing twice - on the same line; say Reading to Shenfield?

@designworkplan @tyznik @mijksenaar @PANYNJ Other than for road signs (in advisory/ regulatory contexts) I have considered such arrows (“U-turn”/ “No U-turn”) as being - in principle - bad wayfinding. In theory they should not be necessary at all. Surely the “turn left/right” and “forward left/right” arrows are variants?
