As COVID-19 spread through federal prisons, 4,500 prisoners were released from overcrowded facilities. One of them, Raquel Esquivel, seemingly did everything right – held down a job, bonded with her kids. So why is she back behind bars? businessinsider.com/do-these-4000-…
@Mac070668 @InsiderNews @BusinessInsider No, not good. Shes being sent back to prison even though she followed all of their instructions. Imagine being told that you were arrested for violating probation, all due to a clerical error, I'd be rightfully pissed.
@CliffUnger3 @VNLASSBM @Mac070668 @InsiderNews @BusinessInsider That's not what the thread said though. They said she violated the rules when she didn't and threw her back in prison for someone else's mistake. She even showed proof of the call and had witnesses to back her up & no one belived her. That's not ok.
@Watysthematter @CliffUnger3 @VNLASSBM @Mac070668 @InsiderNews @BusinessInsider Umm, that's pretty much what I just said. Someone else's mistake and she got dinged for it even though she had proof she did nothing wrong.
@misslisa1120 @CliffUnger3 @VNLASSBM @Mac070668 @InsiderNews @BusinessInsider My bad, not sure what I was reading.
