@ShitpostRock What the show did the NCR genuinely pisses me off. “EVERYTHING MUST BE A GHETTO RUSTED SLUM FOR ALL TIME, NO GOVERMENTS ALLOWED!!”
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock What are you talking about, ghetto rusted slums are integral to CA culture.
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock They had to nerf the NCR so hard because they realized that like the USA before it, it was just set up for going from strength to strength with little opposition. Realistically, the NCR would’ve smashed the Fiends, the Legion, and anyone else except maybe House by NV.
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock Modern corporate IPs are not allowed to progress. They will be infinite lowest risk maximal asset reuse gacha treadmills from here until the current system collapses.
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock They just filled it in LA. Didn’t even need to change anything
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock The show ends with them Turning on an unlimited power source and turning on the light to Los Angeles. The only thing that’s changed is shady sands is gone and the brother hood have taken power.
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock It sucks man, the NCR by the time of new Vegas would've been pushing 20th century standards of living, that's why NV was set to the east like a frontier. Nuking the setting every time the status quo progresses is lame
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock Buddy, they wouldn't have much of a franchise if the NCR just became USA 2...
@Wasattsi @ShitpostRock Interplay planned on nuking NCR in the original Fallout 3 because they grew big too fast. the show just reused that idea
