We're open all day today (9am-5pm) so come down and say hello! You can also fill in a copy of the consultation on YOUR library, open for just two more days! It is available online at surveys.essexinsight.org.uk/librarystrateg… or there are a few paper copies in the library itself.

Our Writtle contingent was part of the hundreds of people on the Save Our Libraries Essex (@ChelmsfordSole) march this weekend. It was an inspiring day!

The library is open! Come in this afternoon (until 5pm) for a warm welcome and browse our wintry book display! There are also lots of books and DVDs to help fill these cold days and long nights.

Did you know it’s easy to support Writtle Library simply by becoming a member? Membership numbers provide an easy measure of the need for a library in the village, so the more the merrier. If you or anyone in your family is not a member, please join up today!

Our opening hours today are 1pm-5pm. Please do pop in!

If you haven't yet managed to get down to Writtle Library to ask any questions about the future of our library service, don't worry as there will now be a representative from Essex County Council there for the rest of the week, with a more senior figure due to be there on Friday
