Astounding how the net neutrality debate has changed. A decade ago, the argument that ISPs had a First Amendment right to filter content was dismissed as fringe (ask me how I know). Today, it's a conventional view and the FCC openly concedes ISPs are free to curate the Internet.
This position—ISPs have a First Amendment right to block content—was radical until very recently. Now even Title II supporters concede it.

As reported by @TedatPolicyband, @NTIAgov's rate regulations and other extrastatutory requirements in BEAD are already driving away participants. Shentel cites labor and price regs in likely passing on BEAD entirely, as well as red tape and heavy-handed regulation.
