Here’s what I’m doing to fix the dev wallet hack - Keeping $VOICEBOX CA - Bought a larger dev share than I had before (18m tokens) on new acc - Waiting on @Pumpfun team to help migrate dev wallet and redirect fees - Improving security with hardware wallet - Will never link the new dev wallet to any tools that are not trusted already - Will look into solutions for the locked liquidity on @streamflow_fi but we have 1 year to figure that out - Going live tomorrow (in 9ish hours), it’s my birthday, to prepare the launch of Voicebox Cloud A massive thank you to the community that are standing by me through this. The hack lost me $18k in earnings, almost everything I had made so far. But I will not give up, I will just work harder. The conviction people have in @VoiceboxAI is even clearer through this, thank you.

You might be wondering why I’d launch discover.me and a few days later pivot completely to @VoiceboxAI Well, *one* person signed up after my initial launch of Discover. And I realized not going all in on my most popular product is crazy, put simply. So I launched solana:FpzZHtp5tbvz6xndEtoJHoGEWcT7cFEuscdCh9RApump and effectively raised a small funding round giving me 3-5 months of runway. Exactly the time I need to convert a successful open source app into a real business. I already had a design for private backup and sync for voice profiles, generations and captures, as well as a mobile companion app prototype. Integrating the token tastefully, like my friends at @AskVenice did is key, for example subscription revenue that buys and burns tokens. For Voicebox, a minimum balance gets you free cloud. I am also looking into rewarding contributors with $VOICEBOX but rules for this will be workshopped to avoid spam, though I think it’s the right move to reward great work. As for company ownership, I have decided to formally adopt Voicebox into the Spacedrive company. It’s the same shape and aligned with the mission. First steps before launching cloud and mobile is adding AMD GPU acceleration and stabilizing performance on various hardware which is exactly where contributors come in. Spacedrive took me years and $2m of engineering man power to remain largely unfinished. The vision was too broad and technically complex. I still have future plans for it, but Voicebox is succeeding because it’s simple, solves one problem and worked from day one. I’m extremely excited to see where it goes and grow a product which is already the defacto voice cloning desktop app into a successful business, without compromising the open source technology. I’ve been preparing and building towards this for years, now it’s time to prove I can execute.
