Another reason it makes sense for the iPad Pro to come with the M4 chip: TSMC's N3B node is a temporary node which is almost fully exclusive to Apple. It makes sense for TSMC to ditch N3B asap when N3E is up and running, since it's mainstream. So N3B is a short-lived node.

M4 iPad Pro is unusual, but it’s not crazy. The March M3 Macs were clearly late and meant to come out earlier than they did. No one cares out of sync with the iPhone cadence; I’m not sure Apple has ever compared the relationship between the A-series and M-series in marketing.
Would be kind of insane if Apple released the iPad Pro at WWDC with the new M4 chip, but didn't put that chip into a Mac until the Fall. This would make it the ultimate device with all of the new AI features, forcing people to buy the iPad Pro to get the M4. 🤔

@VadimYuryev I really hope the M4 rumor to be true. This will really future proof the iPad Pro; especially if Qualcomm decides to being snapdragon elite x to tablets.
