@Sami232999 @csett13 FIFA have been awarding the World Cup to countries that can be seen as emerging markets for football. Russia, Japan & Korea, South Africa, Qatar, Saudi Arabia all given the nod as FIFA want to increase interest in football and strengthen the national leagues in those countries.
