JELANI BENTLEY IS BUILT DIFFERENT.  Hawthorne LB Jelani Bentley has been putting together an impressive senior season! The Class of '27 standout continues to bring the physicality, intensity, and playmaking ability that make him a force on defense.  Every game is another opportunity to make his presence felt, and Jelani has been doing exactly that. Tomorrow, the Hawthorne Hornets are back in action, and we can't wait to see what Jelani and the squad have in store!  Keep making noise, Jelani!  #V2Athlete #NIL #HawthorneHornets #HighSchoolFootball #FuturePros

Most high school football athletes won’t make it to college nowadays simply bc of their mindset. Expecting to come in as a starter as a true freshman, then get mad when things don’t go your way. Gotta be real with yourself fellas! Do I need a year of development, to get bigger, stronger or faster? In most cases the answer is yes!

Kansas offered! Awesome conversation with @CoachSimps. @KU_Football @Kansas247 @JayhawkSlant @AllenTrieu @MSwain247 @RecruitGeorgia @BTProspects @CoachEdDudley63 @DAWGHZERECRUITS @CharlesPower @ChadSimmons_ @247recruiting @On3 @GHSAZone @BuckFitz @ritzvol6 @NaomiRitzBB

A grown man who needs an 11-year-old’s football score to feel important has no business leading children. Coaches in their forties and fifties are online taunting kids, calling out other programs and trying to settle personal grudges through youth football. The kids aren’t even the ones doing it. It’s the adults seeking validation and embarrassing themselves. Leadership starts with teaching a player class and character. Teaching them to take correction, own a mistake, control his temper and respect an official. That requires a coach who can do those things himself. Your 11U record won’t earn a kid a high school starting job. No one cares. At the highest levels of high school and college football, the roster is full of size, speed and talent. A defensive coordinator needs to trust you to fit the right gap, execute the call and stay composed after the whistle. A third-down stop means nothing if you hand the offense another set of downs because you couldn’t control yourself. Our coaches have played in college and coach at top high schools. They aren’t daddies running gimmick offenses and defenses. But most importantly they don’t excuse being disrespectful. They understood the boy in front of them will eventually become somebody’s husband, father and leader. Too many adults excuse arrogance as confidence and aggression as toughness, then act surprised when games end in fights and kids lose scholarships because they act like idiots. They’re rewarding the behavior they should be correcting. At Long Island Elite, we coach character with the same attention we give footwork and technique. Accountability, integrity and emotional maturity have to be taught, demonstrated and enforced, especially when your best player is the one who needs correcting. Winning matters. So does sending a kid to high school prepared to compete, accept responsibility and earn the respect of his coaches. Football ends. What matters most is whether his family can depend on the man he becomes. If you’re more interested in humiliating 11 year olds on Facebook and hooting and hollering about how great you are than preparing a child for their future, put the phone down and get a hobby.

Looking back at Spring and how @RolleDemetrice8 played this game, we knew he was going to have another outstanding season. Kid is a BEAST!!! DM me coaches asap. Got a lot of FBS/FCS coaches reaching out right now.

Royal Palm Beach (FL) 27’ ATH Demetrice Rolle (@RolleDemetrice8) In just three seasons, he’s taken 10 returns to the house on special teams. A true weapon in space—dangerous at KR, PR, RB, Wildcat QB, or slot receiver. Just get him the ball. Rolle accounted for 161 total yards

SHOWING UP FOR OUR OWN. The V2 crew was out at Royal Palm Beach supporting our athletes and watching Trey Rolle put on a show!  Trey delivered another dominant performance, making big plays and reminding everyone what he's capable of every time he touches the football.  But for V2, it's about more than what happens between the lines. It's about showing up, building relationships, and making sure our athletes know they have a team behind them every step of the way. Big plays on the field. Family on the sidelines. That's what V2 is all about.  #ViaVitaePartners #V2Family #TreyRolle #HighSchoolFootball #FuturePros
