Over 300 leaders from 32 countries have joined the opening session of the inaugural THE Pan-Africa Universities Summit at @FutureAfricaUP today. Opening the event, Phil Baty, chief global affairs officer of @timeshighered, said Africa had made exceptional progress across the world rankings matrix, with the number of African nations participating rising from only nine in 2017 to 17 currently, involving 113 universities. #THEPanAfrica
