Friday reality check for job seekers: You sent 8 applications this week. You heard back from 0. But here's what they don't tell you: The one who got called back didn't send more apps. They were the one who actually practiced the assessment.
Hot take: Hiring managers don't reject you because you're unqualified. They reject you because someone else practiced more. Qualifications get you in the room. Preparation gets you the offer. Most people mix these up until it's too late.
