Do you want to know when Ethereum outperforms Bitcoin? I just discovered something very interesting, and I’ll share a bit more with you. When we divide Bitcoin exchange reserves by Ethereum exchange reserves, a very useful signal appears: An oscillator showing whether exchanges are holding more Bitcoin relative to their Ethereum reserves. When the ratio rises, it signals strength for Bitcoin. When the ratio falls, it signals strength for Ethereum. In other words, the relationship between Bitcoin reserves and Ethereum reserves can act as a real directional driver, especially for Ethereum. Every time this ratio starts falling, it suggests that Ethereum is likely to outperform Bitcoin significantly. It can also help identify the right moment to sell Ethereum, because even when Bitcoin starts losing strength, ETH can keep rising for several more days. Did you already know this Alpha?

By the way (and I digress), the relationship between earnings, margins, rates, and spreads illustrates why simple valuation metrics like the 10-year CAPE ratio and the “Buffet Indicator” (below) can be misleading. If we adjust the market cap to GDP ratio for the secular uptrend in margins, we see a valuation picture that looks a lot more reasonable than what the permabears would have us believe.

I am trying to align myself with the strongest stocks in the strongest groups while they are already proving institutional demand through price. 1) I am not looking for cheap stocks. 2) I am not looking for broken charts. 3) I am not trying to be early in names that have shown me nothing. I want strength that is already visible, then I wait for a controlled entry where I can define risk. My process always starts with leadership. Before I care about the setup, I ask myself: is this name actually leading? Is it outperforming the market? Is it outperforming its sector? Is it holding up on red days? Is it reclaiming moving averages quickly after pullbacks? If the answer is no, I usually lose interest fast. Relative strength first. Setup second. After that, I look at the group. 1 strong stock is interesting, but multiple strong stocks in the same theme usually means institutional rotation. That is why I constantly track semis, AI infrastructure, power, defense, quantum, software, crypto, and any group where money is clearly flowing. Then I look for structure. Momentum alone is not enough for me... I need tightness & I need compression. I need a place where risk makes sense. If a stock already made a strong move, I do not want to chase the emotional candle. I want to see it pause, digest, pull into the 9/21EMAs, build higher lows, absorb sellers, and start tightening again. That is where the opportunity forms. The move higher creates attention + the pullback shakes out weak hands. The tightness stores energy, and once price starts reclaiming pivots again, the next move higher can happen fast. This is why so much of my trading revolves around: > Stage 1 → Stage 2 transitions > 9/21EMA pullbacks > undercut/reclaim setups > 15/30min pivot entries > weekly breakout structures > tight flags after expansion > relative strength names on weakness The actual entry is where I get aggressive. If a leading stock pulls into support, undercuts a key level, then reclaims and starts turning back up on the 15/30min timeframe, that is one of my favorite entries. I can place my stop near LOD or the support pivot, know exactly where I am wrong, and participate right as momentum starts returning. If I am wrong, I lose small. If I am right, the stock should start working almost immediately. Momentum trading is not buying random green candles. It is finding true leadership, waiting for structure, entering where risk is tight, and then having the patience to let the winner work. Most of my trades are small losses, breakeven trades, or small wins. The outlier winners pay for everything. Simple... but NOT easy.

$HYPE going parabolic is reminding me of $BNB ’s price action. It’s showing a lot of the same characteristics. Just an interesting observation. If it follows a similar schematic to BNB, there may be another opportunity to load up on HYPE in the $48–52 range. Given its relative strength against BTC, I doubt we see much lower than that. I’m setting HTF bids in that region. RR looks attractive if the trend structure remains intact. I will not be shorting it, just looking to get filled in the event of retest.

Quick update on the general market... 1. This is one of the more impressive lockout rallies I've seen, at least when looking at the Nasdaq. 2. Sentiment has remained very contained, almost impressively so and still very constructive. 3. Almost no distribution, and no meaningful distribution (heavy volume selling days where NYSE or Nasdaq close down >1%) 4. Breadth. While many are saying breadth is terrible it is pretty consistent with what we've seen over the last number of years, namely that the environment is more selective. NYSE A/D line looks like it wants to confirm upon a breakout and the NYSE Comp is tracing out a pretty nice consolidation. Depending on which commodity index you choose, we are either at a new secular bull market high or still just below it. Either way, the secular trend is up, which suggests that inflation will remain elevated. The strength in commodities suggests that the TIPS market may be on the cusp of recognizing that it might be a tad complacent.
