#Breaking News: Charles Littlejohn, the IRS contractor who released Trumps tax returns, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. Littlejohn took a job with the IRS and leaked financial records for other wealthy Americans as well. It appeared his goal was to expose how little they paid in taxes. Why didn’t he release any tax records for the Clintons or Obamas?
@Travis_in_Flint He had a vile intent to act in that way. Should have been a multiplier on the Maximum sentence.
@Travis_in_Flint Oh I get why he was allowed to go to prison rather than be saved. He's a white guy, and while I can't tell by the pic I'm guessing he's straight as well. Prison might change that...
@Travis_in_Flint Should have been 5 years for every return he released. 🤬
This man worked with/for The New York Times and Propublica to release documents over years. For this he was paid. This is not the first time The New York Times has been complicit in illegally releasing documents. In this instance they are caught red handed. Why aren't the New York Times and Propublica also charged?
@Travis_in_Flint Personally, I think he should have gotten more than 5 years, but at least he's getting some time in prison.
@Travis_in_Flint Should’ve gotten more. We all know he’s going to a vacation prison
@Travis_in_Flint @TheNewRevolut12 He'll be out in 18 months
