⛪ Yesterday we celebrated the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Today we have the opportunity to exercise one of our greatest freedoms: gathering with God’s people to worship Him. Come ready to worship, eager to hear God’s Word, and thankful for the freedom to do so.
Thank God for where He has placed you. Pray for our nation, love your neighbor, and use your freedom to make Christ known.
This Sunday I’ll gather with my church family, open a Bible in my own language, and worship Jesus freely. Those are gifts I never want to take for granted. “…He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they would live.” (Acts 17:26)
🇺🇸 As America celebrates 250 years, I’m simply thankful. Our nation is far from perfect because it is filled with imperfect people, myself included. Yet after traveling to many places around the world, I can honestly say I’m grateful God placed me here.
If you don’t intentionally preach the gospel to yourself each morning, the world will gladly preach its message to you instead. This Sunday: Mornings & Mercies Psalm 5:1-12
Every morning, before you ever look at your phone, check the news, answer an email, or carry the weight of the day, something else is already competing for your attention. The world is eager to tell you what matters most, what to fear, what to chase, and where to place your hope.
The Old Testament points to a Person. After 400 years of silence, God didn’t send another prophet. He came Himself. The glory of God came down so the peace of God could come in. travisagnew.org/2026/07/02/inc…

📖 Every generation has voices competing for our attention, but only one never changes. Psalm 19 reminds us that God’s Word is perfect, trustworthy, right, pure, and enduring. If you want stability in a changing world, anchor your life to what God has said.
📢 Knowledge isn’t measured by how much you know but by how much you pass on. The healthiest leaders are always asking two questions: What is God teaching me? and Who needs to hear it next? Don’t just accumulate truth. Multiply it.
Just as those boys helped provide something that served generations after them, our youngest members will have the opportunity to give toward a meaningful part of our future campus. One generation left a legacy. Now it’s our privilege to help the next generation begin theirs.
More than a century later, that relocated bell still reminds us that God often uses the sacrifice of the next generation to accomplish His work. As we continue our M2 journey, we’re excited to invite our preschoolers, children, and students to become part of Rocky Creek’s story.
In 1915, Rocky Creek didn’t have a church bell. A boys’ Sunday School class decided to change that. They each gave half of their candy and Coke money every week. By the spring of 1916, they had saved enough to purchase the bell.

The longer you’re in ministry, the more you’ll discover that it’s not just what you say that matters. It’s how you say it. A careless tone, a defensive posture, or a poorly timed response can undo what you were trying to accomplish.
