Done London session in profit. One Apex Eval almost 5000+ still 4K to go. Will take it slow and steady now. One trade in London session , W/L/BE whatever , only one trade. Getting descipline first.
Here is the key to Day Trading: It’s not whether you’re right or wrong on your trades but how much money you make when you’re right versus how much you lose when you’re wrong”. What most confuse this with is account size. If you’re trading E-minis you need an account with $20,000 and if you’re trading a Micro account you need $5,000. Why? Because the psychological ramifications of each losing trade will way in on you and fuck with your brain. Losing is part of this business and most people learning to trade are Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Engineers and Actuaries. These people are programmed for success. They have spent years in the education system and have been programmed to win at all cost. Every winning trader out there knows the success rate is 33% on most trades. If you are going to lose on 66% of your trades how is your brain going to respond? This exactly why over 90% of traders FAIL. Your brain doesn’t want to fail and it has no idea how to respond to a 33% winning ratio because it thinks this is FAILURE. You have to learn how money management works and then you will be a consistently profitable trader.
AM session also positive. All Lucids and Apex in + now. Limited to 1 trade in london and One in AM session. Will continue to grow the discipline.
London session done with 2 RR. Will work on my discipline, traded only single account. @ApexTradeFund Next trade if any in NYAM session.
Blown 5 apex again. Lucid Daily DD hit + now in negative. In both taken the same trade and guess what everything was right except risk which I took almost 1.5% and that lead to retracement blowing my account. Within 5 points the candle shot up in my direction. Its painful.
Starting a day on mixed not from yestrday as Apex hit daily DD limit but Lucids were strongly positive. Today game plan: Only high probabilit set ups A++ on Lucids on PreCPI & then on both. Hopefully should recover the Apex drawdown & continue momentum with Lucid. @TradingLucid
Ended up buying new Lucid 150K evals and got 2 postive trades. Up 3000 for the day. YM Sort about + 1.5 RR NQ long About + 3.3 RR.
Surprisingly, I could have waited for further confirmation after my second loss but to make up losses quickly, I have taken suboptimal setup. Nonthless, ow 1500 drawdown left aprox in all 5 Apex evals. Not going to purchase new ones at the moment. Will take some break& sim 2d.
Started and now ended London wit lossing streak. Violated daily loss threshold. 4 trades all red. Could have stopped at 2 losses. Some error in judgement as well for trade idea,especially the first trade and this possibly triggered the revenge trading mode aspect.
Two losses in a raw. Day is so far negative. Will take break for now.
Immediate recovery with stronger continaution model with big trades in ES at teh base. Captured 1.5 RR in at last, could have held but already achived the upper liquidity target and next target quite far away so remained safe and secured profit.
Started with the loss though a perfect continuation model. So its fair.
Finished the day on positive note. +600$ of ythe day in a;; accounts. Typical Contiunuation model of OF confirmation at breakout. Almost 2.5RR
So far managed to recover the losses of the day. Only A+++ will be the trade ideas of have to, otherwise green week so far fir latest Apex evals.
Overtarded so far. Down by 500 $ in a day eating up my yestredays profit.
Another loss. Todays london profit breakevened.
Another good continuation trade break evened due to fear possibly.
Lost the trade. My mistake as I was watching YM chart.
Started the london session with win. My textbook continuation model with big trades at breakout. Though collected only 2 RR. Was having potential of more RR and runner but next time now. Possibly done for the London session.
