If you truly want freedom, sooner or later you’ll realize that building an online business or becoming an investor offers the greatest leverage. I earned a national qualification, spent years gaining practical experience to become independent, and even obtained official approval from the Tokyo government. What waited on the other side was an unspoken rule: if you didn’t align with government policy, the referrals stopped. I walked away from all of it and went all in on freedom. And following my own values turned out to be the best decision I ever made.

Even when my goal is simply to create something valuable and focus on quality, another voice eventually appears. It whispers, “Make yourself look better.” Maybe that’s not a bad thing. What we do today shapes the future we live tomorrow. A life without discipline often leads to poverty, stagnation, and lost potential. As we age, the brain prunes the pathways we rarely use and preserves the ones we reinforce every day. The circuits carved most deeply into the mind are the hardest to change. Unless, in this very moment, you choose to be honest with yourself and pursue what you truly want.
