Anyone defending EA on this is out of their mind. “They brought back GM Connected and you still complain!” Yes, because this isn’t a GM Connected Mode at all. It’s a single season online versus mode, which isn’t even remotely the same.

@MikeStrawMedia This right here @EASPORTSNHL @TheClapperton at least give us an option to toggle that on and off but knowing ea they probably built the whole mode around it not being able to do anything with the ai so they’d have to scrap it and start over maybe in another 13 years 😔
In all honesty, what's the point of bringing it back then? Not everyone has 32 people to start a franchise with. Some just have 2 or 3 people they want to play with. Would've been better off not including it at all.
NHL 27 sees Connected Franchise return, but there's one big problem. Unless a team is controlled by a user, you won't be able to trade with or play against them.
Apparently you can't trade or play against CPU teams in NHL 27 GM connected. So basically do 32 users or don't bother lmao. My hype lasted all of 30 seconds lmao.

@TacTixHD I get that but to get the best experience you need 32 or there will be 75% of players in the league you won’t be able to trade for it’s not like this is supposed to be a competitive mode you know what I mean?
