@Borg_Cryptos every day????

You see it throughout history, every time. The people who struggled the most weren't the ones trying new things and adapting. They were the ones who decided early on, "this isn't real," and just checked out completely.

We have to learn to accept the truth and feel safe at the same time. That's the real reason so many of us self-sabotage. Not on purpose. Our hearts just aren't there yet. You can want to know Jehovah and still be scared that opening up to him means losing something. You can want a better life and still freeze up at the change the truth is asking for. Not because you're broken. Because you've never lived that life before. So stop beating yourself up. You're building a new life on an old blueprint. Until that blueprint gets an update, your heart keeps snapping back to what's familiar. This isn't about being smart enough. It isn't about willpower. It's about training your heart. Healing it.

Know the difference between what's trivial and what actually matters. Some things you just let slide — not because you don't care, but because you know better. People who are genuinely likable know this. They don't blow up over surface-level stuff. They stay locked on what matters, and let the small slip-ups, the little rudeness, just pass. Even when someone says something out of line, they don't take it personally — they see straight through it to whatever's really going on underneath. Someone loses their cool and says something harsh? There's usually more to it. Maybe they're hurting. Maybe something awful just happened to them, and it came out sideways. Even when it stings, put your own feelings aside for a second and keep your energy up. Don't get stuck on "I can't say this." Picture who you actually want to be, and take one more step toward that — on will alone if you have to. Take the real stuff seriously. But learn to let the small stuff go.

Real work-life balance — the term itself is kind of a trap. It's not about more life, less work. That's not what people actually need. Real balance is mixing different kinds of work together, the right way. "Life's a learning journey. You never know what's around the next corner. But whatever happens — there's always a lesson waiting for you on the other side."

Behavioral science backs this up: whether it's external or internal, tangible or intangible — rewards work best when they land right after the behavior, or when they happen often. A small reward now beats a big one later. Every time. And here's the reward every manager already has, for free: praise. You can give it constantly. You can give it the second someone earns it. It costs nothing. And yet — walk into most workplaces, and barely any manager actually does it.

Sometimes all it takes is reminding them what to do... Be specific. Tell them exactly what you want them doing — and exactly what you want them to stop. Skip the vague stuff like "act responsibly." Your athlete has no idea what that even means in the moment. "Stop messing around and help John work on his swing" — that actually lands. Sometimes just naming the right behavior is enough. Approach them one-on-one so they don't feel called out. And in front of others, keep it light: "Liz, looks like you're about to work on your back handspring, right?" "Michael, you're heading into stretches now, yeah?"

"Everyone has a first day. Today's mine — so I'll only be bad at this until tonight."

"In everything you do, don't worry about running out of time. Worry about whether you gave it everything you had."

Success as a salesperson might mean making money. Or it might not. Real success in sales requires something else: you have to grow alongside your customer. Making money and succeeding as a salesperson are not the same thing. If you want to actually succeed, you can't meet customers to serve your own agenda. Your fulfillment has to come from using your product to meet their goals — not yours. The money follows. It's a byproduct. A salesperson fixated on the payout almost never makes it long-term. Focus on your own gain, and you'll end up selling people what you want to sell — not what they actually need. Even if they buy, a customer whose real need wasn't met walks away unsatisfied. That makes the salesperson the winner and the customer the loser. And a customer who feels like a loser doesn't want to stick around with the person who made them feel that way. The relationship quietly dies. Do that enough times, and eventually you run out of customers — and you're done selling.

Leadership is this: the skill of giving people the right vision, and making sure everyone actually buys into it. You need one clear communication concept, one consistent voice — and then you hit your people's hearts with it, relentlessly, over and over. A vision isn't finished the moment you announce it. It's finished when your people accept it, share it with each other, and start feeling proud of it.

@Borg_Cryptos Yeah

Ever had this experience? - Hearing a Bible story and feeling your heart just... harden. - Someone tells you to trust God, and your chest tightens up. - The closer you get to the truth, the more it feels like your life is about to be taken out of your hands. That's not because you hate the truth. More likely, it's your mind trying to protect you — from old experiences, from what people around you might think. So even now, a lot of people know, on some level, that they need to move toward the truth — and they keep putting it off anyway. They avoid it, keep their distance. They don't read the Bible, don't think it through, keep pushing the decision down the road. Some people react emotionally to the truth. Others just tune it out completely. But this isn't weakness. It's likely a pattern your mind built a long time ago. We're not just fighting a bad attitude here. We're up against a defense system the mind has been building for years — maybe decades

How to actually change a habit: . Don't do it in secret — announce it. . Ask people around you to cheer you on. . Keep your daily goal small. Smaller than you think. . Change one habit at a time. Just one. . Print the image of your goal achieved. Stick it on your desk. . Keep the big goal in mind, but focus on winning today. . Write the goal down, tape it up, say it out loud ten times every morning. . Stop chasing perfect. Allow exceptions, and just keep going. . Make a checklist every day. Check it off.

When people are exhausted and worn down, most of them take it out on whoever's closest to them — irritation, anger, sharp words that cut deep. Because that person is always there, always easy to be around, always assumed to just understand — we let our mood dictate how we treat them. But the people closest to you aren't a punching bag for your stress. The closer they are, the more carefully you should treat them, the more you should cherish them. Wounds you cause with words to someone you love cut deeper than a knife ever could. Don't let your mood become your attitude.

A: Does worrying about it actually get you an answer? B: Honestly, I don't think riding someone hard gets you real results. A: What do you mean by that? B: Even if someone's fully capable of finding the answer through action, if they choose not to act — that's on them. Nothing I can do about it. Because I believe only they can relight that fire inside themselves.

One of the core principles in coaching conversations: "Here and Now." Not the employee's past, not some feared future. Just what they're feeling, doing, and experiencing right now, in this room. Here's what I see all the time: someone gets stuck dreading a bad review down the road, and it turns into "I'm scared of everything I have to do." When that happens, we break it down together — a month feels impossible, so we shrink it to today, this morning, this afternoon. Small enough to actually hit. Chasing a vague goal is like staring at a cloud, trying to grab it.

Speech is a gift. One of the main reasons a leader exists is to give people the knowledge and methods they need to do their job. But how you say it matters just as much. When you talk to your people, bring gentleness and real respect. Show that you actually understand what they're feeling and thinking. Do that, and you're not just talking — you're teaching them the work, and maybe even reaching their heart. If a leader sees that someone needs guidance, don't hesitate to say it. That said, good leaders pick their moment carefully, so they never embarrass someone needlessly. There's a season for everything: a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak.

Yeah, true — but what you did before doesn't matter. What matters is what you're doing now. I've learned you have to keep running with endurance. Keep chasing the goal. That's what counts.

There's an old line, often traced to Scripture: "Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up a matter separates close friends." Work closely with colleagues or people you manage, and you'll see their strengths — but also their flaws. So how do you deal with that? We can't expect anyone to be perfect. If you've built something close with them, you have to actually work to keep it strong. Sometimes that means being honest when a colleague or report messes up. Sometimes it means forgiving them when their words or actions sting. And once you've forgiven — don't dig it back up. In times like these, focusing on people's strengths instead of their flaws isn't optional. It's essential.
