BUT, overall, an enjoyable read and an intelligent book :) you have to take this book with a grain of salt though.
Secondly, Gladwell has a confirmation bias. He selectively gather info to support his concept, but ignores other important things
Firstly, information overload..made me feel SO lost and overwhelmed :( Did you read the part where he talked about Sesame Street?
But… like every other book, it has its weaknesses too, unfortunately
Gladwell also does a great job of relating his concepts and ideas to everyday life and many events that happened in the past. Interesting
Also, this book was, in general, easy to read too :) no pretentious use of words or sentence structure. My kind of book for sure ;)
Another example is how he explained the decline of crime rate in NYC in early 1990s. I’ve never thought of it that way!
Oh my goshhh! Gladwell really encourages us to think outside of the box! Did you guys read about the Paul Revere example???
