@Gabriru_fan @JamesSurowiecki It's not special pleading because he outlines the domiciled precedent (Desmare v United States) while broadly agreeing with Thomas' much longer dissent that goes over the issue of who is and who isn't "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States. It's a coherent reading.

@pegobry_en I find a kind of morbid pleasure in reading remarks like this from English writers who saw the 2nd World War as a grand crusade to save all that was good and decent from the profane and modern. Those who survived the war saw the world they fought for vanish in a mere decade.

@Eric_Erins When white settlers first came to the country's interior, they were amazed by the scale and beauty, but at the same time, they were deeply disturbed by its apparent emptiness. To me that goes to prove the point that a landscape, natural or man-made, is not culture in-of itself.

@choccy_g_ @DrachenIvy @hyuebee Same, I love these designs as much as I love the ones that replaced them. I almost said that Brian's skirt should have been longer in my original post too lol. The best thing about spinoff manga is that they can go crazy with designs without having to worry about physics.

@choccy_g_ @DrachenIvy @hyuebee I agree with the rest of your list but Brian's outfit is a pretty intentional reference to sukeban that survived the wider purge of schoolgirl designs because it fits her image. I really wish they kept the original Windy though, There were some really good schoolgirl designs.
