I’ve shared many times how much I love films and books about discipline, about real people who achieve extraordinary things through the fury and power of their hearts. I was never really into superheroes. Growing up, I was much more inspired by stories of real people doing incredible things. Or even myths where the characters are becoming a real human being through their journeys. That’s one of the reasons why I always loved Jackie Chan’s movies. He shows a different kind of hero: an ordinary person who becomes extraordinary through hard work, discipline, courage and perseverance. I’ve always found that so beautiful. But what touched me most was meeting the person behind the legend. Not only during the show, but also behind the scenes; the kindness, humility, generosity, and warmth he showed to me and to so many others there were just as impressive as the extraordinary career he has built. Something that made me admire him even more was seeing how passionately he uses his voice to celebrate Chinese culture. Experiences like this incredible drone show, where thousands of lights created beautiful images inspired by Chinese culture and iconic moments from his films, are truly unforgettable. Honestly, I have so much to say about these past few days. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in China since 2024 and moments like these remind me how much there still is to discover here. So many breathtaking landscapes in nature, hidden places, stories and experiences are still waiting for me. I feel ready to discover them in this adventure! Sharing art, music, learning from different cultures, being close to nature and creating memories with people from all over the world are some of the things I love most about this journey. And I truly wish everyone could experience even a little bit of what it feels like to be here. The nature, the people, the culture, and the ancient stories and mythology of this country captured my heart a long time ago. In fact, they even inspired my first EP and keep inspiring me as an artist! I am deeply grateful for everything China has allowed me to experience ♥️ The funniest part is that China has lived in my dreams since I was a little girl watching Mulan. I wanted to visit this country so badly that even today I sometimes get emotional when I see places I once knew only through television and imagination🤣♥️ Looking up at the sky and seeing thousands of lights forming giant images filled with emotion and meaning is one of those memories I will carry with me forever.
