Game Pass will be studied for decades as the worst business move in gaming history. It attempted to force an entire industry to adopt a business model that served no one but Microsoft. Thankfully their greed is only eclipsed by their incompetence.

Let me be unequivocal, Game Pass is an industry cancer that needs to be excised. Expect more studio closures. Expect more layoffs. Expect higher prices for lower quality products. But hey, at least you got a deal on Game Pass for a couple years, right?

It's amazing watching people cheer on Xbox Game Pass when it's so obviously the giant destroying the industry in real-time. Game Pass is not profitable or sustainable. And it will eventually be seen as the Spotify of the industry, handing out pennies to devs.

@AxiomVerge Reaching out to see if you're aware of the bugged trophies on PS5. So far no one has been able to get Low Percent or Mostly Invincible despite meeting the requirements. Just hoping you can confirm you're aware and that there will be a future patch, thanks!

@AxiomVerge Hey Tom, I appreciate the quick fix. Unfortunately, I think the 100% flasks trophy is bugged on PS5. I just got the last flask but the trophy didn't pop. The 100% items trophy did pop though so I don't think I missed a flask. Hoping this can be patched, thanks!

@AxiomVerge Hey Tom, loving the game on PS5 but it seems the trophy list for the PS5 version isn't working. It throws an error when synching trophies which happens when the list hasn't been made live on Sony's servers. Hope you can take a look when you have a chance, thanks!

Spiritfarer is a Stardew Valley Metroidvania on a boat and it's stunningly beautiful in visuals and storytelling. I highly recommend it if any of that sounds interesting to you.

@JCole360 I don't disagree but what the market will settle for is not necessarily what's best for the industry or for games. Again, being that I follow people who love games it's weird watching them fall all over themselves to celebrate gaming become the Spotify model which is terrible.

@JCole360 Doesn't matter how much money Microsoft has. Businesses are not in business to lose on every deal. At some point they'll go for profits by paying devs less and charging customers more. How anyone can cheer this monstrosity is beyond me.

Here we go again, KFBF high school drama. It's quite ironic that those caught up in it today are the ones who so often led the mob and threw the most stones. Hopefully one day this hive mind will realize that the deify/vilify dichotomy is the mindset of a child. Grow up already.
