Postmil without theonomy is simply revivalism. In the postmillennial future, the law goes forth from Zion. Postmil-theonomists have long highlighted the failures of these “awakenings” which were long on emotionalism and short on emphasis on law and true repentance.

I can’t see how Postmillennialism works in real world terms. For example the Great Awakening revival in Britain or New England USA was hugely influential on the populous of that period. But go to Britain or New England today and what do you find? In a few generations it is all

@RealTonyGurule @JanBart29597476 @EYakoby PSA: Theonomy would abolish the law order in “The Handmaid’s Tale” as it doesn’t expunge old covenant rites nor does it possess biblical principles of due process, proportionality of penalties, equal rights of women as witnesses, to read, write, etc. THMT is anti-thenonomic.
