We're taught to repress our anger. To ignore it. And to deny it to seem "polite." Some of us were even punished for feeling angry. We were told to be "good" and after all, good girls/boys don't get angry.
@Theholisticpsyc I have been going through psychotherapy for a while. I'm starting to hit the angry stage with some things. I didn't realize angry could feel cleansing. I still have ways to go, but I'm doing the work.😊
