Waves of sadness or breaking down in tears out of nowhere can be grief. Let the tears flow. You’re grieving the past, what you needed and didn’t get, and the experiences of your younger self. Grieving is how we finally release it.
@Theholisticpsyc You can't measure your grief by how much you cry. Sometimes your grief builds up and has to be released. You'll have good days and bad days. Sometimes when you think it's getting better it hits you like a ton of bricks.
@Theholisticpsyc Grief work is so unusual in this culture. We need others to help us normalize it. Let’s be the tribe that changes that. It’s not easy at first. But then, grief and joy become the same river.
@Theholisticpsyc happens in yoga and dance classes plenty somehow the focus on the body gets the emotional guarding out of the way and these things can emerge go to another room or the bathroom if you must but let it flowwwww

@Theholisticpsyc Sadness and grief are natural emotions. They are to be felt and experienced. Depression is something different. Being depressed is your body saying that it needs "DEEP REST" from the life you try to live. Rest from the persona you play. From the mask you wear. Just rest.
