@mreasycredit @_gothhardt_ Listeners are naturally stupid that's how "I'll be watching you" by The Police became a love song played at weddings. Stupid people gonna stupid.

This series is a solid story that steps outside the series in smaller ways drawing on some lore established in Jason X. This take is so over produced and everything wrong with commentary/criticism that is killing art. Give it a chance. Don't let folks like this discourage you.

I think Betsy Palmer would have hated this new series because it goes against everything she established with the character.

@justserend12 @LoveWinsTruther It just occurred to me that the first time we are ever introduced to stunt doubles and body doubles is in S4 when we see Mike & Will's body doubles prominently in BTS photos and in one "Noah BTS tik-tok." This is the season of knowing looks.

@justserend12 So have you realized yet that these Stunt doubles/body doubles switch out a number of obvious times throughout S5? One of the big things Cable TV changed was actor availability meaning body doubles were used and stand-ins for simple shots or coverage during edits.

@nightwriter22 Netflix is likely getting ready to treat itself like a broadcast network that buys its series from production houses who finance their own pilots.

@pookiedots7 read my pinned theory. We're heading back to 1959 and the pro-shot is likely going to be in black and white. (At least I hope so.)

@anddynx When the VHS special edition came out back in July my theories were basically born from it. I think if we get a season 2 VHS special edition. The stack of tapes shows us S3 as upside down. So S3 has to be put right and then 4-5 will change entirely.

PSA: no scenes from previous seasons have ever been cut or re-edited. And they never will be.

I don't think it's going to be as clashing as folks think. Skydance won't last in its current state without significant sales of media. Rice is there to anticipate some of that. He's also there to help Netflix if they do want to venture "Safely" into theatrical releases.

@youllhave2wait So muting and blocking is pointless. HE (we all know who I mean) couldn't handle being blocked and muted so he made them both worthless. BOOOOOO!

@justserend12 In practical terms much like Seattle portland has nice and cheap Venues so it's easy to schedule low cost shows. If there's a meta, I'll leave that to the experts. (Prolly you, you'll prolly find it)

*shuffles cards* You know, if you shuffle a deck 7 times, the order becomes completely random. So let me lay all my cards on the table. Hearts are for emotions Diamonds show wealth Spades represent intellect Clubs are to signify power....or for hitting people.

I Own 3 different versions of every single film in the original franchise, I am a huge fan. This person acts like the films themselves didn't constantly change Jason's own lore. In both part 9 and X. X actually lays all the groundwork for what's expressed in this series.

Crystal Lake is the final nail in Friday the 13th’s coffin. They shoved Jason’s drowning forward by 14 years (from 1957 to 1971) just so they could force trendy 70s aesthetics, then completely rewrote the franchise’s most iconic opening by having some random acid-tripping camper
