To people worried about the bench accident or convinced I was “ego lifting” A: I’m totally fine B: That is my normal working weight C: I clipped the bar on the rack and it bent my wrist forward, I didn’t drop it from being exhausted. D: people who said I didn’t go far enough down with the bar on my reps… fair. Over all today was such a magic experience. Lifting with one of my childhood heroes is a blessing and a few bruised ribs is a small price to pay for the memories and the content.

@TheWillNeff You should try lifting even more, not a real workout without a broken rib man. Grow up.
@TheWillNeff By rep 6 you were already struggling even while doing half reps - that's definitely not your normal working weight. You don't need to prove to the world how tough you are. Glad you're okay though
