Today parliament voted on a new offence of ‘criminal exploitation of children’ that would have sent adults who involve children in crime to prison for 13 years. The Tories voted AGAINST it. Under the Tories, criminals have never had it so good.
Adults who involve children in criminal enterprise should go to prison for 14 years. Today, parliament will vote on my amendment that gives children the protection they need. This is a critical test for government: are they serious about child safety? thetimes.co.uk/article/crackd…
