Some *incredible* views from coming down from Mars at the moment, courtesy of the @NASAPersevere rover. Like this one from yesterday, looking out to the rim of Jezero crater.
@NASAPersevere This is a composite of three photos the rover took with its Right Mastcam-Z camera Monday, 25 March 2024 at 11:45 am local. Colour balanced to better (if not totally) match what you'd see if you were standing there, gasping for air. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/ASU/Paul Byrne
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere It's amazing how almost earth-like it looks. If it weren't for the reddish sky, I would assume this was a photo of somewhere in Nevada. Very cool that features we think of as being exclusive to earth are more common than we realize! I hope we can get some HD views from Titan.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere Did we see the Martian Sand Crab again? Obviously kidding… I appreciate you sharing these with us.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere Can't look at these pictures without shedding a tear for Ingenuity. Aerial view must be stunning.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere Gorgeous. Sort of a magnificent desolation to steal a phrase.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere Looks so serene. Barren and lethal, but amazing.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere can almost taste the dust in my teeth. if we could just add water.
@ThePlanetaryGuy @NASAPersevere Wow i wanna live there. Too many things to enjoy!
