Why does Reform care so much about Andy Burnham winning Makerfield? They don’t! They’re using it and the vote splitting argument to destroy Restore Britain Because they know what a strong showing for Restore Britain will do to them over the next 3 years

Again and again and again Reform are pushing nothing but fear tactics. They have nothing to offer that is hopeful, instead all they can do is peddle in feat. It's getting pathetic at this point How about you stand by your convictions and tell us the Benefits of Reform? Any?

If Burnham wins Makerfield and then becomes PM, he will then change to voting system to stop Reform or Restore ever getting into government. Unfortunately thick as mince Restore supporters don’t realise what they are doing by handing Makerfield to Burnham! Vote Reform U.K.

I wonder how true that Reform is panicking is true Labour has a strong baseline, we met their canvassers out and we had a good chat, very friendly. We saw some Conservatives. We didn't see a single Reformer, anywhere in comparison. This will be won by the ground game...

@AndrewHWestern Not sure how you'd know, but lets run some numbers. The benchmark is 5%, that is the most any 'new' party has ever got. We are competing against an entrenched Labour support and a Reform riding high from council elections. Anything more than the projected 8% will be a shock

@Frankie_1643 Rubbish. The only way to enact constitutional change is by a) Calling a General Election and having it in your Manifesto b) Holding a binding Referendum on the Subject. Anything else, given it wasn't a manifesto pledge in 2024, is undemocratic.

He couldn't define what he meant by "Racist scum" so instead he's scurried off. Was a shame, I was close to calling out his financial incompetence too given he seemed to have defaulted on his mortgage and let his Pension be mishandled. I do hope he finds peace though...

@YouBrokeItMate Please, define to me what makes me racist? A country has borders. That country is entitled to enforce them and ensure those coming and going do so as long as it is of the conducive good of that country If it no longer is they are returned or rejected, else why have borders?

The response is amazing - I'm not doing this for me. I'm doing it for my children. My son so he can have a future, my daughter's so they can grow up in a safe country and for them all to be able to believe in Britain again. I'm compelled to do something other than scream into the void on here. If all goes well, I'll be back next week playing taxi for a couple of our branch who want to go too. Here. We. Tomorrow, I go to Makerfield. It's a 2 hour car ride, and I aim to get there for 10:30 I am not a social person, I am not extroverted, I am mildly terrified. But I want to go, I have carved out this day to go and help in whatever capacity I'm able for the day. eep!

@polgrimer It's a tricky one, it could cause problems with work - given the nature of what I do and the people that I work with. That said, I have registered with the @SpeechUnion almost as an insurance. Political views, and membership is a protected characteristic after all..

Okay, now I'm home - I have to say, again, what an amazing day. I didn't take any pictures, nor did I want to be in any pictures. Sorry to our team leader who wanted a team picture, I know.. but I'm doing this for the vain glory. I also didn't seek out any 'celebrities' I was there to do a job. Make sure the people of Makerfield were aware that there is a better option, a Restore Britain. The event was slick, organised and friendly. I rocked up at ~10:20 and within minutes I was put into a group of 6 of us, we did a meet and greet, TL picked up a clipboard of where were going and off we went. Those first few doors were terrifying, we had rehearsed our introduction, "Hi, I'm here representing Rupert Lowe's Party, Restore Britain and would like to talk to you about your local candidate Rebecca Shepherd and who you might be voting for" the amount of times I tripped over that 🤣 but we all found our own niche version of that to break the ice. But there was nobody we encountered that was hostile, aggressive or angry. Bar a couple of "no not interested", or "I'll never vote for you lot", people were friendly, amicable and willing to listen where they answered. One chap, was moved to tears because of how this country is, that there was an opportunity to restore it. One, was so apathetic he was adamant all politicians were corrupt and that there's no bloody point even bothering. By the end of that conversation, he took a leaflet and said he'd think about it. Lots of dog owners, I can only apologise to the woman whose staffy I woke up which then in turn woke her up, as a dog owner myself who gets infuriated when dog barks and baby wakes up, I am, so, sorry. 😅 If me, a social recluse, internet void screamer, a twitter\x enthusiast who barely logs more than 3,000 steps a day (yes, I know) can rock up and do this, and you're thinking about going and doing it. Absolutely, go and do it, and if you're there Sunday 14th. I'll see you there.

@TheNorthernByte Hi there, yes I’ve been to makerfield three times having never done anything like this before. The way you have described your day was exactly like my three days were. I too would encourage anybody who wants to go down to please just go down. You will really enjoy your day 👍😀

@EndangeredBrit So this will do one of two things - Harden their resolve, double down, call to action - Fold their deck and throw their cards to the wind and give up I don't think option 1 exists to them, because I think any hardcore volunteer is already on team Restore.

Right, and you took out a mortgage during a period of record low interest rates and assumed it would remain at a sub 1% rate? You never considered a scenario where it might increase and ensure you have available funds? Not sure how she reduced your pension though, I'd have a word with your provider, mine dropped 4% but has since recovered 23% in that period, merely a blip in the long term which you expect to happen when pensions invest in shares.

Because this is where your prejudice and assumptions let you down. There are a lot of very good, very intelligent people working on Policy, Frameworks and more at Restore, which if I may remind you - are not the same as Reform, whose leader took 9 months to put out a 6 page picturebook for immigration policy.. Restore takes this stuff seriously.

@MisterRee321 They will come around. Maybe not today, but in Council Elections in 2027, a General Election in 2029. They will vote for Restore. There's a thin, but distinctive line between Reform and Restore and once you start laying out where the overlap is and isn't, they come around.

@WilsonBlackett These fluctuate massively and #bets != chance of winning, but it does influence the betting market. Restore peaked at 8/1 and has since slid back to 14/1 - with Labour remaining the favourite. In the same breath though Reforms chances have also collapsed
