Google I/O is the end of search as we know it. AI agents now shop for your customers. They scan your store, evaluate your products, and execute purchases without a human ever visiting your site. Most merchants are asking: "How do I rank for this?" Wrong question. The real question is: can Google's agent actually complete a purchase on your store? A store can look perfect to humans while failing silently for AI. Structured data. Variant logic. Pricing consistency. Checkout signals a machine can parse. If those aren't in place, the agent moves on. No bounce in analytics. No abandoned cart email. You never see it happen. That's not an SEO problem. That's a buyability problem.
