What’s the most epic thing you've ever seen at a concert?
@ThatEricAlper - Tommy Lee play the drums upside down. - Eric Clapton on stage with the Allmans at the Beacon.
@ThatEricAlper @TedNugent comes out swinging like Tarzan off the high side speaker screaming and wearing nothing but a loin cloth and a Gibson on his back. Cal Jam II 1978.
@ThatEricAlper When Page and Plant played in PDX back in 98 I saw Jimmy Page used some kind of device where he was playing with a box that made crazy sounds it was wild. Unrelated but there were people on all sides of me smoking something but I am pretty sure it happened.
I had front row seats for a Peter Gabriel concert during the Secret World Tour and when he was performing Solsbury Hill, he saw me singing next to the stage and he came down next to me while he was singing and he just locked onto me as if he was singing a duet with me. It gave me chills and my friends were gobsmacked and slightly jealous.
@ThatEricAlper I was wrecked out of my mind at a Metallica concert and a guy fell out of the rigging and only saved himself by catching his foot on a wire and then later a guy ran on stage on fire. Im sure it was all staged, but my alcohol-addled brain thought it was real and freaked out.
@ThatEricAlper Keith Emerson WALKING his keyboard around. It was the 70's. I was stoned
@ThatEricAlper Probably when I got to watch Tedeschi Trucks onstage at the Lockn Festival and Bob Weir came out!
@ThatEricAlper Honestly, when Trans-Siberian orchestra made it snow in the Xcel Center, and the heat from their flame jets could be felt from 50-60 yards away.. light show, etc. They do it right.
