No cancer is better than any other — all cancers are worse.
@ThanksCancer This is crazy talk. I would like to trade my cancer which is metastatic and incurable for a stage 1 version of my cancer. That would literally be a dream come true for me, to have that better cancer. Stage 1 cancer is 1 million times better than metastatic cancer. Fact.
@ThanksCancer a melanoma completely excised, a small cancerous colon polyp removed...they are 'cancer patients' but very different from cancer patients who need major surgeries, chemo, radiation & whose odds of survival are counted in months.
@ThanksCancer I had very early, very small, very "lazy" breast cancer, no chemo, just surgery and rads. I find myself constantly feeling guilty for even saying I had cancer or I'm struggling, because it "wasn't that bad".
@ThanksCancer Having had a hysterectomy for adenocarcinoma, a clear margin melanoma excision, and a craniotomy for #braincancer that left me with permanent neurological damage, I can authoritatively say that (for me) brain cancer was worst. The melanoma was better.
@ThanksCancer All cancers suck. I will never forgive cancer for all the loss and grief it has caused in my life. I am incredibly grateful to be alive. No doubt
@ThanksCancer I agree to an extent. They are all the worst but some cancers have better treatments available. I'm too grateful for the treatments available to me to consider my early stage breast cancer equally as bad as a cancer with only palliative treatments available.
@ThanksCancer All cancers are worse… but some are more lethal than others
