Texas is currently closer to leaving the United States than we have been in modern history. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
@TexasNatMov I can't wait! Democrats will get a permanent majority in House/Senate, U.S. will save BIGLY on FEMA since Texas received the most federal aid, totaling more than $7.6 billion.
@TexasNatMov So, when Texas secedes, will all the professional sports teams be leaving their leagues? Will Texas and TAMU leave the SEC? That’s a LOT OF MONEY to take off of the table.
@TexasNatMov Where’s your constitution?
@TexasNatMov Just leave then
@TexasNatMov It won't happen as long as Greg Abbott has the reins.
@TexasNatMov This isn't an airport. No need to announce your departure
@TexasNatMov I wrote an article exploring what an independent Texas would look like for @homelandist : homelandinstitute.org/2024/01/new-na… In regards to money, TX would be getting tariffs, the federal income tax, etc which currently go to the feds. Their econ would also boom without fed regulations.
@TexasNatMov how do we measure this closeness (or being further along)? passing of more legislation? a formal vote? (not being a smart ass, actually curious)
