It has taken only a few weeks, but the heavy damage inflicted upon the refining industry has already turned Russia from a net exporter of refined oil products to an importer. This will increase energy prices in Russia and eventually all products. Russia's already costly war just got even more expensive and this one will be even felt in Moscow and Sankt Petersburg, with unpredictable consequences. Source: Reuters
@Tendar Imagine if the west stopped tying Ukraine's hands and allowed them to hit these refineries with storm shadow and scalp missiles.
@Tendar Strike Belarus refineries, blame little green men. Deny everything…
@Tendar Imagine russia having to import gas from belarus, their lapdog who hit decades of ridiculously subsidised russian exports. russia's in freefall. Ukrainian sanctions work.
@Tendar Tendar, 💯% agreed on all counts. That’s what makes the #Biden Administration’s urging for #Ukraine to stand down all the more absurd as Col. @JESweet2022, U.S. Army (Rtd.) & I argued today in @thehill in Washington DC. thehill.com/opinion/nation…
@Tendar Great job Ukraine! It must have pained Russia so much that it started to using its precious Zircon missiles against Ukraine.
@Tendar Big decisions, bigger consequences. Russia's move from exporter to importer will surely shake things up.
@Tendar That stuff must go through some pipeline ? 🤔
@Tendar This will increase energy prices for European and American customers lol, ldiot
@Tendar It will also increase energy prices everywhere else.
