RIP Christine McVie. A truly talented musician who wrote some brilliant tunes for Fleetwood Mac, especially "Everywhere"
@PopCultureGuy12 100% chance you didn't know this song until Chevy used it in a commercial.
@TalonZahn Funnily enough, I have not seen this commercial until it was just brought up. Then again, I don't watch much TV, and I've loved Fleetwood Mac even before it came out
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 Why do you say that? Geez..
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 I’m old so - sorry, it’s familiar and part of my life’s soundtrack. Future Games is a fabulous album that I think showcases Christine’s talents quite nicely 💙😢
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 It’s in a Chevy commercial??
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 I did not, and I’ve been bumping it since I heard it. For once a commercial showed me some good music. Of course the last time was also by @chevrolet when I was a little kid in the late 90’s they did @BobSeger “Like A Rock”. Thanks to them I’ve learned a lot about classic rock
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 I didn't see the Chevy ad, but there was another TV ad using this that had a Shetland pony in it.
@TalonZahn @PopCultureGuy12 Well, you’re kinda right in my case. I really listened to the words and a beautiful melody and thought, ‘wow! Fleetwood Mac has some beautiful music!’
