And those of us with a #LearningDisabled relative who is supported in residential care need to count all the extras we buy in ( counting travel costs because #siblings don't always stay on home patch) Amongst the things I buy for my sister are @TalkingPro cards and albums, clothing and bedding ( to ring changes) the basic LA fee doesn't cover extras

Snack time - great time for multimodal language input. When it's time for snack we play a song as a signifier-through computer, iPads or talking tiles. We model language using a combination of symbols, Makaton signs, communication boards/books & TD snap on class boards or iPads.
