I’d be happy they drafted the player with the highest upside & took the gamble on his off-court concerns. DP just screams star player. I’d still be able to sleep at night

@rakoto10 @BartleKSLsports I’ve been trying to convince myself into Boozer, forcing myself, and I just can’t do it. If DP is there, you gotta take him. Boozer is a good player but I can’t see him being a star, as I can with AJ and DP. What sells you most on him?

@TheRealRigelis What’s the appeal on Cam Boozer compared to AJ or DP? What makes you like him more? He’s slow footed, can’t jump, won’t be able to bully guys how he did in college. Great processor, decent ball handler and shooter though. I just can’t see him being any more than a starter

@hansenjames I’d rather have DP and have him turn out to be a rotational player than CB and have him turn out to be a star. Where we currently stand, DP and AJ are head and shoulders better than CB. If CB turns out to be better than them, you live with it knowing you made the right decision

@sydala @jazzbeargryllz Lauri will for sure, with his FAT contract. But as Ace develops into a star, I could see the Jazz moving off Lauri’s big contract after next season. Whatever happens, this is a great problem to have

@SpencerKeele I’d rather draft DP and have him end up as a role player than drafting Boozer and him becoming an All-NBA player. You live with that and have confidence you made the right decision in the moment. You simply don’t draft Boozer over DP.
