My Neighbhour asks how my brother is every time I see her, I don’t have a brother she’s talking about me pre- transition, this has been going on for years so I just make up wild stories and she just eats it up every time I can’t tell her now, I think she would have a stroke.

It's handy when I remember to do it. - D
It's a long term disorder and it varies dramatically from person to person. Current research is sparse and much of it is written by people with questionable ethics. Treat each case as its own, instead of trying to apply a rubric to it. It won't do much. - D
I think it's polite to treat alters like individuals. I think the discourse over part/person is kind of silly. - D
Reminds me of old machinima shows like RvB or Yogscast, which isn't a bad thing. It isn't my demographic, though. - D
Indifferent. I think they're useful shorthand. - D
Marketing yourself based in your mental illness rubs me the wrong way. - D
Super useful, I use PK for D&D and RP stuff.
It's the internet being shitty. If your self-confidence in knowing your own disorder can be ruined by someone else not believing you, you may want to reflect on that. - D
