@daven_mons That doesn't explain the issue of severity though, nor the punishment to myself for simply questioning the panel at all in the interest of accountability. Where was it implied or understood that they can act with impunity, and you cannot publicly disagree with them?

@daven_mons The secondary point is the sentencing is extreme, and typically what you would see for cases things like SA or physical violence. Big T actually made a threat of violence and he got 6 months for it. Why the discrepancy, when one is much worse than the other?

@daven_mons My primary point was never that I condone or approve of what they said. It is that they have a right to say it, despite how vulgar, and they have said it outside of the scope of the panel's authority, as it was in a private server that was not under the ok smash scene purview.

@daven_mons I think there's something to be said that those comments were made in private for the express reason of not causing conflict publicly. I know people in the scene hate me and have said horrendous things thanks to insiders, but thats part of engaging publicly with the scene.
