@Swim_England On DAY 1027 #MyChallenge to this Govt @lucyfrazermp @DCMS @StuartAndrew. @Swim_England are asking us to join their commitment to change. Will this bring #fairness to #deaf swimmers? Will this end the #discrimination of an entire #disability? @AndySalmon3 I look forward to it.
@Swim_England Safeguarding needs to be taken seriously and concerns investigated. Coaches are in a position of trust. Swimmers need to be in safe environments.
@Swim_England Thank you for apologizing for the inappropriate behavior at Swim England. I sincerely hope that the defensiveness of the organization can now come to an end, and that those affected by the behavior will be heard and their cases reexamined.
@Swim_England It's crucial for Swim England's legal team & the judiciary to conduct a thorough self-assessment of their actions towards both current & former members. They should approach this with compassion, reevaluating cases that may have been mishandled.
@Swim_England @Tivyswimming What nonesense, a report based on anonymous feedback from very few people, what's your agenda?
@Swim_England Any reason why @NYDeafSwimmer is still having to lobby for funding for his Deaf Athlete colleagues after almost 3 years? They deserve to be heard and funded equally to all other athletes.
