We really need to stop saying Welcome to Raccoon city is the closest thing to the games. In the movie, Leon gets transferred to Raccoon City because he shot his partner in the butt and his father covered for him, Claire and Chris are orphans that stayed at the Raccoon City Orphanage until Claire runs away, it’s a strange mix of Re1 and Re2 where those events are happening at the same time, and it’s not even a City; it’s a town.
